Gillingham turned it round in last 5 minutes against Cheltenham, 2 - 1 win for them, if it wasnt a big enough game before even more vital now, even 3 points wont get us back in the play off positions unless Shrewsbury win at Rotherham on Tuesday.

Our GD isnt good enough for a promotion/playoff team, it was decent +17 iirc until Jimbo took us on a slide down the table.

They'll be one of them sides that come to sit back and try to frustrate us, and sides like that usually do well against us. We really need 3 points in this one and we need to go at them from the off.

WOW i dont believe it. Not a bad line up, however prob would go with 3 - 5 - 2. We have got to win, risk it at the back in search of 3 points, besides we have McCombe. IMHO season already over for automatic promotion, and i also think its over for playoffs. Reason why, we do not create or score enough goals from the strikers and midfield. 43 goals for a top 10 side not enough. McCombe has gained us 10 - 15 points alone.

Lets hope the players don't have the same negative frame of mind as some people posting here. Keep the faith until it becomes mathmatically impossible. We always play better aginst the good sides like Bury on saturday. we were unlucky not to score. I think we can still make the play offs. automatic is looking a bit unlikely. Stay with the team and they can deliver, it is all about belief.

What worries me at the moment is that we haven't really got any momentum at all going into our last 8-10 League games. The likes of Stevenage and Torquay have hit a little run of form recently which has catapulted them into the play-offs.

 

A similar thing happened to ourselves towards the end of last season, which nearly got us into the play-offs. The fans felt the 'buzz' aswell. We probably had automatic promotion form for the last three months of last season. Unfortunately we haven't got that this time around it seems.:(

Season over for us i'm afraid, even if we beat Lincoln we will not beat Torquay, Chesterfield and Stevenage - 3 times who are scoring for fun and are on a winning run.
