Tonight as i was driving home from work i put the Radio Stoke news on at 1640.Rs said about the new CEO.They then played a short clip from the new CEO where he said along the line's of(cant remember exact word's)

 

"The commercial department are doing nothing wrong":ohmy:

 

I could not believe what i was hearing.

 

What commercial department is he on about,what have they done recently?

 

Is the reason they have done nothing wrong simply because they have done nothing?

 

Now if that was me just about to take up a position and i was asked to make a comment on such.I would have said that the commercial department has room for a great deal of improvement.The commercial department is failing badly and it needs drastic changes.

Anyone who has no commercial background knows they have been doing a poor job commercially.

Looks like he has a good CV. A positive appointment in my opinion. Seems to have excellent marketing skills as well as experience in the Chief Executive role - something many thought the new CEO was going to be lacking.

 

I can understand why the B&G are so disappointed.

 

He could be Jim Gannon's brother with a CV like that :D

The final straw for me...

 

How can anybody condone or defend this appointment (cost) when there is a credible bid on the table supported by the majority?

 

Not so long ago I was understanding of Mr B's position, but this move shows utter contempt to fans (their customers). It also highlights the lengths they will go to in order to make a statement to Mo that they are going nowhere.

 

This guy is going to have a contract that will need to be settled when that money could be put to better use !!!

 

Messrs Brat and Jackson thought they had hired a sacrificial puppet to communicate their games - instead they have persuaded many swing voters like me that WE WANT OUR CLUB BACK!
