I have just finished watching the video of the Fans Forum. I was impressed with what I heard.

 

Obviously there is a difference in talking a good game and delivering... but it all sounded very sensible and based on having a well drilled squad, who want to play for each other, that's full of leaders.

 

Hopefully they will be given time (if they earn it) to follow through on the long term plans.

 

This is encouraging but you're right to say that there is a big difference between talking and playing. Personally, I'm still concerned about the left back position (which seems to have been a problem position for us over recent years) and, more seriously, central midfield where our games are going to be won or lost. It's not clear that we're going to be able to sign Guy any time soon and we could be waiting around for weeks if not months. So I just hope that filling these positions are a priority for Brown and Morgan.

 

After last season, when the players got used to losing, it's really important that we get off to a good start and bring back a winning mentality. The last thing we need is a poor start because key positions have not been filled. Fingers crossed.

I was impressed with the lad talking about using analytics and GPS data. That we have this technology at our level is good. Now if we can be sure that iFollow video is going to work....
