Perhaps because now Gannon has gone the players know they'll be playing to a formation and style of play they're suited to and the best players won't be left out of the squad?

Grew and Horse will change it back and the players will find it easy to go back to winning ways.

 

McCombe will be told to launch it not play football, Griff will be allowed to tackle, and then theres Gary Roberts being allowed to play.

Just the feeling that they seem more intent on being pally with the players than instilling any kind of discipline in the team. Someone posted on here yesterday that Micky Adams would be up in arms if he could see how MG and GH go about training; they don't really work on fitness and the players spend most of their time in the jacuzzis.

 

Also, whilst Gary Roberts certainly has the ability to be one of the best players in this league, his behaviour (and that of other players) when Gannon was in charge was disgraceful. I can't see Grew or Horsfield taking that matter in hand.

To be honest, if the players have said get your money on us to be promoted, I think that's a fantastic attitude to have.

 

Sounds as though they will put the effort in, and it's Grewy & Horsefield's job to keep them toeing the line, and keeping them on track for promotion.

The problem is probably that the Horse and Grewey are a bit too chummy with the players, so what we have now is a sort of players co-operative. This won't work. Remember how Adams had to kick their ***** when he arrived. .....

 

This is my concern too.
