I really enjoyed it, quality football! A few noticeable differences such as speed & power (plus they aren't as aggressive/good in the air). We needed to be a lot more confident in shooting, almost trying to walk it in at times, but had so many chances & could have scored 4 or 5 in each half. Both goals were great finishes too, & a very good crowd created a great atmosphere. Looking forward to Euro 2017, I think we'll do well, very composed at the back & passing/creativity going forward was very entertaining! We all agreed it was essentially like watching a slowed down PL game.

 

Also, as an added note, Vale could learn a few things from watching those. Especially the tactics, was so refreshing to see a player standing on each touchline & us using the wings properly!

 

My first time in the away end, & I was actually impressed with it, great view aside from the pillars, but we moved to the side & it was pretty much perfect. Just a few from tonight, haven't sorted through them yet...

Great game and great team spirit from the England squad. Best entertainment sèen at Vale for a long-time.

Met a guy on the train to Chesterfield who was an ex Portsmouth fan but now goes all around the world watching the England ladies team and various others. Said that the Vale put on a good show but again took too long to get in.

 

He was on his way to Grantham to watch the GB British deaf ladies team vs Ladies engineers in a training camp!
