I think that's Taylor's problem - he is still struggling for fitness, which probably explains why no-one else signed him. We all know how hard it is if you miss pre-season and/or get a serious long term injury.

 

He did play well I thought in the second half against Chesterfield but for someone with his pedigree I think we expected a lot better. He's been a bit disappointing.

Taylor was a passenger against Chesterfield and was hardly mentioned in commentary against Oldham when it sounded like we were getting mullered in midfield

Could someone please advise on why Kjell Knops is employed as a professional footballer.

What are your thoughts on Taylor, Perreira, Cicilia, Kelly, Mbamba, De Freitas, Tavares, Macintosh.

 

We have so much more dead wood than Knopps who has on the whole been one of the better players for us playing in a position that he has not played too often in his career.

Not seen anyone mention on this thread about our extra day advantage by playing on Friday night last week. Arsene Wenger moaning about playing again tonight with one day less to recover than Bournemouth. Didn't seem to give us any advantage based on yesterday's performance.

The only thing that's phucking staggering is his stationary ball watching that unless for Jak Alnwick would have led to a goal.

 

To not even move is unacceptable.

I think knopps has had a decent year so far, considering he's out of position I think he's a pretty steady player!

This has to be the biggest crock excuse going being peddled by a number of the big name managers. There is a number including Klopp surprisingly who need to have a look at their comments and actions over the last couple of weeks.

Taylor has been struggling for a few games but he did have 50% of our shots on target yesterday!

 

Does that include the effort he had in the first half where he swung his foot at the ball about 12 yards out, completely unmarked, and the ball barely reached the goalkeeper?
