One of FIFA's biggest corporate backers are Budweiser. I believe they sell a product known as beer (although as a real ale man i use the term loosely). FIFA insisted on beer being available at World Cup matches that they actually got Brazil to change their laws ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

NO doubt they will try something similar, or have they been somewhat humbled and knocked down a peg or two by recent events. I doubt it.

 

Personally, i'm all for spreading the World Cup round as much of the world as possible but Qatar is, and always has been a moronic choice. Australia should have got the 2022 World Cup.
