IMO ,for those people interested in going to the games,an offer of say £50-£60 for the next 4 home games would have been a better offer.If the board do the dirty then people can again withdraw their custom.

Perry Deakin is the king of spin (worse than Sinnot) and sadly youre falling for it, hes sold advertising space and sponsorship for peanuts, some of this supposed sponsorship is basically freebies to companies!!! (such as that second row of advertising hoardings that other than bet365 is most definitely freebies, and many of the existing hoardings are ones fro previous seasons that havent been payed for) And in some cases we havent even had sponsors for matches/balls etc already!

Ask yourself why Mr Deakin was got rid of by two previous sporting clubs? With many saying theyd never work with him again? Why is it he continually brings in the same companies at these clubs for lump sum fees and he is then gone in the matter of a couple of years or so max? Its all a money making scheme for Deakin (and his 'assisstant' Bedding) and hes taking advantage of the board who need money now

 

As a CEO it is his job to spin things.

 

And is it just me that thinks building a reputation with companies by offering these deals on sponsorship and advertising is not a bad thing. If the space wasn't going to be sold anyway.

Absolutely spot on Jean. A quick look at the season ticket section on the Vale website shows that the price has been £299 since 24th July.

 

Only at the Vale could they make a song and dance about a season ticket offer without actually offering the fans any discount.

 

According to the Senile the offer is to the end of the month, so you could get 20 games for £299. Pensioner 20x£15=£300. More than likely the odd cold and holiday clashes etc. does not make sense. Did not worry in previous seasons as the money was going into the club when I didnt know how it was run. But into the smoke is blown away I will stay away.======

I did expect a cheap ST renewal to be offered for fans who, like me, haven't renewed I didn't expect a stupid 'snatch me now' offer like this one.

 

I don't know who has come up with this offer and if its Perry D he wants his **** kicking as he clearly, again, doesn't understand the fans who are part of SEO and what we stand for.

 

I am aware of much of what has gone on behind the scenes and welcome the fact that Bratt and Lloyd are leaving but there is still a lot of loose strings to be tied up and if you have seen my messages on OVF since 15.30 hrs today you will know that I am going to make my judgment after Sunday's meeting.

 

If we get clear, concise and honest answers to the agenda questions and those Steve (Stone Valiant) is compiling then we can move forward. Any waffle and its a different story.

 

See the Agenda we have put together for the meeting before posting messages saying I must be feeling very very silly.

 

I am not, and the agenda, which I have already sent to Mike Lloyd and Perry Deakin, is a sensible way forward in my eyes.

Just spoken to the Ticket Office and they have confirmed to me that the £299 offer will run until the end of August as stated in the Sentinel.
