He probably did when we signed Tommy osullivan and Matty Kennedy. They didn't exactly do anything special. When signing younger lads you need luck and hope they have a great season or months loan.

 

Maybe we will get lucky this season if we dip into the loan market?.

I'd take him in a flash and have him the number one centre half. I'd imagine wages wise though we probably couldn't afford him?

 

Good solid player though just what we need.

Wages will be an issue with most of the decent players but i think Smurf has to realise that you have to pay the money if you want to improve and get those players in who can take us to the next level

Well he's said he isn't putting money in didn't he? So unless we sell a lot of season tickets like you said players like him probably are not in our price range sadly. Taking Innis would be a massive gamble with the lads injury record and would stay clear of him. Remie Streete looks like he could be the one replacing Innis on the treatment table next season so a centre half who actually plays games would be a good start.

Niall canavan could be an answer at the back and lee novak a possibility up front. He scored a couple more than ajay so not a bad shout for someone who is on our level.

Novak has got in double figures but hardly blown anyone away, Birmingham don't want him so I can't see him going for a club that's got a budget much higher than ourselves but we'll have to wait and see.

If Bradford go up i can see them releasing Knott,now for me IF Brown and O'Connor dont sign then going for lets say Inman and Knott to replace them would be good for me.
