    • Tom Pope

    • Justin Richards

    • Both, rather than signing up extra defenders

    • Neither, get in new strikers and start afresh

It makes no difference. Whats done is done.

Alls that will now happen in this thread is that it will escalate into a slanging match from most posters.

A pro board poster will then come on, mention something about SEO being the reason why we cant have both and all hell will break loose.

If ever there was a thread to cause friction, this is it.

Popes here, Justins gone. Lets all get behind Pope and leave Justin in the past.

I think Pope is FAR better. Stronger, more technical ability, wins headers, wins free kicks, brings people into play, holds the ball up and perhaps most importantly shows he can score goals if given the right service. Justin can't do some of those things, and the other items he doesn't do as well or consistently.

So debate about a footballing issue causes friction? Honestly people complain when the forum is filled with backroom issues and underlying corruption, but when a topic specifically refers to footballing ability people still get annoyed?!?!

Im not annoyed. Bit of an overstatement there.

Im just saying, its a pointless debate about a player (Justin Richards) who i personally thought did a good job and would continue to do so, who has gone, wont be coming back and will probably get slagged off to the high heavens before the whole thread turns into some anti-pro board face off.

If the debate had been which 2 should start the Crawley game out of Rico, Rigg, Williamson and Pope and who will be our best strike force then fine but it isnt. Its a pointless debate about a player whos just left.

Just my opinion though.
