Nlv - Board Meeting

The delay is only due to the board.

I would be very wary of joining the board without knowing the true financial position. Can the club be saved from administration or is it in too deep?

So it is understandable that Mark Sims and Malcolm Hirst want to be sure that they are not landing themselves into a can of worms and want due diligence completed to their satisfaction.

Might be wrong ?

But Malcom Hirst is not doing due diligence he is relying on the Mark Sims outcome. Also realisticly can you see the Board telling anybody what there plans to move over are as they don't have one and if they did they would have stated months ago, then there would be no need for all this up evil we could get on with just being Vale fans.

So the only outcome .will be Malc Hirst will not join the board and the board will use the excuse that the offer was there and Malc refused.

Also on the Sentinel article Malcom states he asked for another person to join the board who would that be as it already been suggested?

I hope I'm wrong but the offer could be no more than a meaningless gesture, a knee jerk reaction in the wake of the EGM.One things for sure, though, and that is if Malcolm Hurst and Mark Sims do join the Board, Bratt and Co will move very quickly to appoint further Directors in order to protect their majority.

I think we should all be prepared to be patient.

All of the pro-change organisations are led by volunteers. That is, people who have full-time jobs, families, other commitments etc. They are making a considerable personal sacrifice to bring about change, and this will take time.

Also, as with trade union negotiations, this whole affair is a bargaining process, with each side setting out their stall, before eventually, coming to some compromise and consensus. This again can be a lengthy process.

As much as many of us might like to see the overthrow of the present incumbents, the EGM only partially acheived this. This being the case, careful negotiation is the way forward. Step by step gains might eventually lead to the change that many of us want to see.

In the mean-time, it's important to keep up the pressure in terms of B and G and SEO. As far as I can see, this only strengthens the pro change lobby and Sims and NLV bargaining position.

Patience and pro-change unity is the way forward.

Depends on

1) Can they average a crowd of 5,500 and

2) Can they sell 400k worth of shares or sponsorship

Yes but what do they do in 12 months time, con someone else to buy £400,000 of shares. How many idiots are there.

There is no point in M. Hirst also doing D.D. That would take also take up more valueable time. The outcome of Marks findings would suffice.

They survived the vote but they are not able to take us forward. WE ARE NOT EVEN TREADING WATER. Whilst all this faffing about is going on we going backwards. According to the audited accounts we had £400k in the bank at this time last year.

Even if (big "if") their statement about ST sales is right, what is your feel for where we are now financially and where we might be by Xmas, and the end of next season- assuming no change that is?

What a coincidence that Bungling Bill just happen's to be away elsewhere when the meeting take's place.

So we end up with the club Chairman absent for what could be a very important meeting for the future of the club. Was it to much to ask for the meeting to be arranged and then Bungling Bill the club Chairman fly off to where ever after the meeting,or the next day.Can the board members who were there at the meeting make a decision with out the Chairman? Were they in contact with each other via video link(doubt it very much).

The guy fails to give radio interviews,he fail's to attend important meeting's,fail's to attend games. All of which should be part of his job.All for the good of the club;).He is a complete waste of space but a big hinderance to the club and its future.
