Okay, I'll test your confidence TC:

If Port Vale finish in the the top seven for 2011/12 Mrs AR and yours truly will donate £200 to the charity of your choice.

Deal? :)

Fair play and very good of you.

The Donna Louise Trust is my choice.

Thanks again!

I'm highly confident we will achieve a top 7 finish are you not? I don't need to explain it again, but i will anyway.

We have the same team Adams got us top of the league with plus a few more additions. Without all the anti board people who vowed never to step foot in Vale Park again spreading their negative vibes it just makes sense for me to assume there is a good season ahead.

Anyway, all this talk about signings and football again on here is great and i, along with others am thoroughly looking forward to the start of the season. More of the same please Deano

We don't actually. Roberts, Taylor, Bell and Sutton have all either left or not been signed up to new deals yet. We also have Crawley, Swindon and Bristol Rovers who have far better squads than us on paper.

I don't believe we have the goals or the strength in depth to achieve a top 7 finish and an injury to Richards will leave us in serious trouble,

Hi Ziggy,

Yes Mo is still interested.

However there is the more pressing issue of the change on board which is where the focus is at present with the various concerned groups.

The present debate thus has nothing to do with Mo - hence the silence.

We sit back and watch with interest as the pressure for change of board continues.

As and when there is a new board in situ, then I am confident we will re-engage.

It is important at this stage that we do not confuse the issue facing the shareholders and fans - namely the current board remaining or a change of board.

Kind Regards.

Legal Beagle posts and the sound of 20 or so bonfires getting pi5 5ed on is heard :)

chin up in particular to Bansabellend, Ziggys on stardust and thecharlatans (must be Bratt and Co.s username surely). The movement goes on ive turned down a season ticket as a present and wont be going until the whole of the old v2001 board is no longer involved, like a lot of people, as you lot will find out on 6th Aug.

Hi LegalBeagle,

Given your stance on the need for pressure to remove the board, if we were to have a scenario where only a yes or no answer is allowed (basically none of your waffle), do you want Port Vale to get off to a flying start to the season and continue it with automatic promotion next season?

Kind regards

If promotion meant keeping the current board then no thanks

Its 4th from bottom for me everytime

totally agree,

but to be honest i see it as a good thing, a poor division would have allowed the board to paper over the cracks, a highly competitive league without us in the top 7 means everything people have said is clearly evident, lack of investment and a move backwards from last season.

It is not quite the exact same squad that once got to the top of the league then bottled it and had relegation form for the second half of the season...

Tommy Fraser the captain and a leader has gone as has Kris Taylor the only player who can take a free kick.....

since then both Horsfield and Grew have shown themselves to be clueless failures and the manager who got them all to sign two year deals on the grounds of loyalty walked out on them and is

only back following an abject failure and humiliation.....

the club have signed an inexperienced left winger who couldn't get games in England and has been playing in the fourth level of the Spanish leagues

after paying a small nominal fee to the Glen Hoddle Academy and have failed to sign the other lad properly and could only get the player on loan as the club can't afford a small nominal fee.....one inexperienced player signed and another inexperienced player on loan.....Fraser had played 100 games mostly in league 1 and Kris Taylor had won promotion from league 2 twice.....the squad is probably weaker with a second time round manager

who has lost a lot of trust.....mid-table mediocrity low gates vote of no confidence.

.

Picking through PR spin he is admittingthat the game is up for the Motivator and Vale, he even likened the goings on at Vale to the Muppet Show on aanother thread, such is his contempt for the idiots he has been dealing with although with people like you still holding out hope of him returning then he may have a point.

He's benefited very well from the last 8 months, loads of free publicity and press about how he was going to come along and save his local football club, apart from his tacky leaflets he incurred no costs at all for his stunt, fools like yourself picked up the tab.

To prove theres no personal hard feelings from myself towards Mr Motivator I wish him all the luck in his new venture of buying out a gym, maybe he'll dust down the Lycra costume and run some fitness classes at the same time :laugh:

Honestly Banbell, this animosity you have towards MC and LB is hard to fathom, did they double team your Mrs and post it on YouPorn or something?
