They might not get any better, but they've got a good chance of getting worse.

Depends on the manager,Pulis did the same.for Stoke but never really looked like improving. Then comes Hughes and as much as it pains me to say it have a good chance of challenging for Europe next season

I understand his frustration of being offered reduced terms but signing and then sounding off is just plain daft.

 

It reminds me of an employee I was responsible for who came to me and said he could get £2000+ a year more if he worked at JCB.

 

I said " I would be very sorry to see you go but if you can get better money somewhere else please dont let me stand in your way".

 

He looked at me like I had two heads, muttered something unintelligable under his breath and walked off.

 

Some people are just plain daft :yes:

Wash your mouth out with soap, Sjoke are going to be relegated, end of.

 

The thought that they will eventually stuff it up is the only comfort I have. :(

I get the Big Sam thing though- they weren't progressing under him. He did well getting them up and consolidating them but the weren't going to get any better

 

I'd wage a fair chunk that they ain't gonna get better under any manager--West ham, along with another dozen clubs in the Premiership (Stoke S*ity included) are never going to be anything other than mid-table outfits AT BEST--and will also be a reasonable bet to be in the bottom-half relegation struggle. I think I'd rather be a realistic supporter rather than a deluded one!
