While I don't agree with the extent of the mickey bashing, I do think some are being very fickle here and seem to have been won over very easily simply by the fact we can sign players now. People seem to think everything's rosy again when it clearly isn't.

 

Where will the money come from to buy these players? Think longterm - the board are SKINT (they've admitted that), what happens if we do go up? How will we survive? The main issues haven't magically disappeared here!

Quite, the level of stuck record hatred flying around defies belief. It's not as if this news was unexpected. Suppose Simms accepts, Hirst accepts, there's a vote for a new chairman. Simms wins, open invitation and all invetsment to be addressed in public. Ameriturf deal turns out to be okay, Mo also invited to invest 24.9 and nominate a candidate to the board. The current board have actually had enough and want to fade away (they trust Simms but not Choudry). It could still happen you know.

You can say people accept it, but actually I'd say people have different ways of dealing with it. I just take a pragmatic approach. What's so far fetched in this scenario? And what alternative would you like? The three resign leaving an inquorate board of one? The anti camp botched the EGM big style, so now we are left to pick up the pieces. I could be wrong, but I think the board want out, but not to Mo. So Simms is crucual. I have nothing against Mo, except the fact that his efforts in the last few months have been so rubbish I doubt his heart is in it. What's your vision now? and do you agree that just bashing people with any opinion other than "Bratt eats babies" and "Oliver is a gypo" is counterproductive? And England did once win the world cup. Oi less of the Timothy! I want any alternative at present that doesn't include any of the parasites that are sucking our club dry. The anti camp didn't botch the EGM big syle, Oliver got in by 0.62% and the rest by Lee's vote which didn't become apparent until the morning of the EGM. Read the emails between mo and Lee and make a decision. They were out manouvered at the last minute admittedly, but not big style. Mo's heart is in it, lesser people would have just walked away.

 

How can a board get a vote of no confidene and then 3 of them get voted back in? Computer hacking anyone?
