In all honesty though, it has been a saturday and sunday, the latter to which very little transfer activity is seen.

Owen/Sutton/Roberts have contract extensions to sign then apart from the

matter of a second choice reserve left back to replace Kris Taylor that is a

20 man squad essentially the same squad as last year and the budget spent.

 

So apart from left back cover it will be the same squad as last season while

it is hard to see how the club can afford the same budget as last year and the

idea that on top of last years budget Adams is going to get money to sign 4 players is somewhat unrealistic.....the club have turned down 7.2 million in

offers of investment in the last six months and there really is not much to be hopefull about.

The problem is by pure chance he is in the situations in the first place, you only generally find trouble if you go looking for it or those around you do.

 

He did ok for us last season, no more. Scored the two against Bradford, 1 against Herford and dived for the penalty aginst Salop. So in effect he won us 5 points in a **** poor league which tells you what we have come to accept.

 

We need 1 small and 1 tall quick players who will run the channels and provide alternatives to the two strikers we already have.

 

Time to move on.
