More than 6 local lads in the first team squad?

 

On another thread a poster has just pointed out that with the signing of Moore we now have six local lads in the first team squad.

 

Just like the owd days.

 

Happy days they were.

If you're including Dicko, he's from Nottingham and supports Forest!

It was normal as a teenager to go up 'Anley bowling alley or the discos and meet up with the players. Particularly in Cullo's era.

 

Some of the dancing wasn't normal, though: one or two back-four clodhoppers obstructing those keeping the faith.....
