Away Days........

Unless iv missed it i feel were losing a couple of cracking away days this season, bury for one will be badly missed, unforgetable day out at the start of last season, heres hoping Burton is on a saturday not a rainy tuesday in december ===

While this is true, Wrexham is a quality day out so lets hope they get through the play offs. And of course our shrewsbury friends feels more important than our crewe alex 'derby'. Lets hope we can visit them again next season. Good Times!

As they were beaten 5-1 on aggregate by Luton last week, that could be difficult!

We will not be playing Wrexham next season. They lost 5-1 on agg to Luton in the play off semi finals. So many southern teams in the league next year unfortunately.

Shrewsbury and Accrington both lost 2-0 in their first legs so its looking like they will both be with us next season, so away trips under 2 hours away:

 

Shrewsbury

Accrington

Rotherham

Crewe

Macclesfield

Cheltenham

Bradford

Burton Albion

Morecambe

Hereford

 

 

We are losing Chesterfield, Bury and Stockport unfortunately- all good away days.

 

None of the teams coming down from League 1 are close, the nearest is Swindon and thats still a long run. Could have been Walsall, Notts County, Tranmere or Oldham, they are the four finishing immediately above the bottom 4. Oh well.

If we have a good season I don't think folk will mind where we play... 500 fans to Barnet with nothing to play for showed that.

Agree. The only reason we took 500 to barnet though was because people had bought tickets in advance thinking we was going to make the Play Offs. It Would of been more like 50 if they knew how our season was really going to end. Promotion next season though for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stockport isn't a particularly good away day, the only thing it has going for it is it's close! I'd look forward to AFC Wimbledon much more if they were to go up.

A lot of these places dont half sting you on the train though personally i rank Macc and Bury as the best away days last year both only a cockstride away from manchester

I cant wait to see AFC Wimbledon if they can beat Luton just hope MK dons dont go up and have a dreadful season next season the day they are back in the same league will be justice for football
