5 Games ago spurs were been talked about as top 4 even challenging for the top and Newcastle were heading for a relegation battle now Newcastle sit above them. That's why we love football the ups and downs.

To be honest the league looks quite poor but far more even this season.

Bearing in mind that Spurs spent £100 mill in the summer and Newcastle spent nowt it will be an absolute scandal if they don't!

I know it's early doors yet but the 6 players Spurs brought in with the Gareth Bale money have not improved them at all.

What I'm trying to say is things change quickly in every league look at us after Bristol city,Peterborough and Sheff u it looked tough but after the last few games things are now looking very healthy indeed.

Spurs bought in 6 good/average players but sold their one class player with a net spend of ca 15m, quality over quantity any day. Signing Remy on loan was an astute piece of business by Pardew.

Newcastle were within about 12 hours of signing Remy last January until Redknapp jumped in with a ludicrous wage offer. Had he signed then he would be at Newcastle permanently - as it is, he'll probably go somewhere else in the summer now the rest of the Prem have seen how good he is.
