oh dear, fury will be crowing from the rooftops, he's already shouted that he's the best heavyweight on the planet and haye is just a stepping stone on his way to a world title, must be on monkeydust.

Gutted that it was called off, was really looking forward to it. It happened in Haye's final sparring session to apparently, it just wasn't meant to be. I hope that it will be re-arranged as it was set to be an intriguing fight (should Fury make it past the first few rounds) but I can see David now fighting the winner of Klitschko - Povetkin instead.

 

Oh well, there's always Carl Forch vs George Groves on the horizon, that should be a belter.

You can still pick up cuts even wearing a head guard, though obviously it lessens the chance.

 

It's just bad luck, simple as that. At least Fury will get to keep his '0' for a bit longer until he comes up against a credible opponent.

 

He has talent but is so naïve, and I think his own ego will ultimately be his undoing.

I should imagine it's just something David Haye has always done. The cut looks a real nasty one and I really can't see him fighting again this year, or sometime in the middle to late December at the earliest!

It does indeed look quite nasty and the kind that would readily open up again..assuming Fury could actually lay a glove on him :)

these things happen, but to listen to fury's manager the cut was done on purpose because haye didn't want to fight because he's frightened. the shiyite these people come out with puts pepole off.
