He confirmed that was in response to something else. As he dosent even read half the bull **** rumores so didn't even know about being in Leeds.

Seriously, though, I don't think they could afford £1m players at the moment. They've recently signed Smith from Oldham and McDermott is raving about him.

Depends on the person, rumours and especially mischief making can upset some players, and spoil concentration. Real bids are bad enough, as is press speculation, but stirring for the sake of it is much worse.

Of course, most players deal with it, some even thrive on it, but for some it is difficult. No different than any other job, some are easily distracted, most concentrate on the job, and tittle tattle goes over their heads.

Sorry if you cannot understand that people are not all the same, but that is how it is. But specifically, we all know Tom`s feelings, it may well be that he will never move, but if he scores 25+ this season the pressure will come.
