Between now and the EGM

Burt

Recommended Posts

One league game left, apart from that plenty of uncertainty regarding the future of players/management etc.

So what's the plan leading up to the EGM? Is it all quiet while we sit and wait?

Don't think we can pretend the board won't be spending as much time as possible to twist things in their favour using any disgusting rule bending techniques.

Can we have one thread where all things EGM are kept? Losing track of everything (yes, I see the irony of me posting a new thread about it, but it doesn't really fit with the others).

So, do we sit tight?

What are LB/MC/MS's moves between now and the end of the month?

Etc.

Etc.

Shouldn't Mo have an open evening, like the one at Baddeley Green and invite people to a Q&A, for shareholders on the fence, and other fan's?

Great idea JJJ.....Maybe hold it at the Moathouse or somewhere in the middle......

that's along the lines of what I was hinting at jjj, an evening for people to attend so everyone understands the %s involved and what exactly the agenda is, and the rules of what the board can/can't do in any circumstances etc. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wouldn't mind finding anfew useful things out,

The Board can do what they want, without the fans they havent got a club, whatever General Meetings decide.

This is the crazy thing, even if the board survive the EGM it will be a very hollow victory. No money, supporters boycotting the club in their droves and administration and Blue Square football a distinct possibility. What has to happen for V2001 to realise this is a battle they can't win?

Can proxys (proxies?) obtain the right to vote on behalf of someone else then vote against the wishes of the person they are representing?

For example, could pro-board supporters contact NLV to become a proxy, get the nod, then vote for V2001 regardless of what the actual shareholder wants?

Obviously individuals who choose their own proxy can select a fan of similar opinion, but that might not be feasible if lots of people need to be represented.

How many times has Bratt said that if the majority of supporters dont want him he would step down?

You would expect that when they get a majority vote against them at the EGM then he would go.

He wont though will he because a) He never does the right thing and b) Hes a lying scumbag of a man.
