Between now and the EGM

Burt

Recommended Posts

This is the crazy thing, even if the board survive the EGM it will be a very hollow victory. No money, supporters boycotting the club in their droves and administration and Blue Square football a distinct possibility. What has to happen for V2001 to realise this is a battle they can't win?

From a business perspective with poor season ticket sales they are in zugzwang to us a chess and game theory term. But whereas an honourable chess player would resign, people with an ego hardened by criticism may fight to the last and given I think supporters have really had enough that is a recipe for big financial trouble.===

Shouldn't Mo have an open evening, like the one at Baddeley Green and invite people to a Q&A, for shareholders on the fence, and other fan's?
I'm sorry mate but it would be a waste of time, why?. The people that he is attempting to convert wouldn't bother attending. Mo needs to target the big shareholders via LB and Mark and contact them directly. In that way I am sure many of the undecided would come on board. It would be hard work but it would be rewarding I'm sure.

As Bill Lodey seems to side with the board I can't see how it is fair that he should be in charge of organising share sales and the EGM in general.

I have tried looking online in order to find details of the correct person to contact at the FA to ensure that they are on top of this. Does anyone have a relevent email address? Thanks.

Share sales should have been frozen as soon as the EGM paper was served.

In view of their 'previous' I wouldn't trust them one little tiny bit. I despise them and fear that they are about to finish my love affair with my Port Vale. If they had one single shred of decency they would have resigned but they dont because it is obvious that the daren't they have too much to lose if you get my drift?. Here'a a clue...... Ner Ner Ner Ner:ohmy:

Of course it's the point why try and convert the converted. It's the apathetic and the undecided that Mo should be after.

I am very surprised by your comments Burt. Last weekends march wasn't to give the marchers exercise. It was to make a statement and show the depth of feeling that exists within the supporters. The very fact that there was no objections proved that the silent majority are with us, well certainly not against the much needed changes.
