Never saw all the fuss with Burge, played a lot of simple passes and never seemed to have that final ball or end product. Don't think he would have got half the playing time he did had we signed Jones at the beginning of last season, as loft is ten times the player Burge is!

Still, think he'll be steady in League Two

Morsy turned down the 2 year deal because he wanted to play football! If he had stayed at Vale, he would have spent the next 2 years sitting on the bench like Dodds Shuker etc. At Chesterfield he has a first team place, and he is flying high with Chesterfield, just like he did at the start of last year with Vale.

Yes he has played every minute of every game for Chesterfield. The fans say that Morsy and Jimmy Ryan are the best midfield they have had in years, and that they are a revelation!
