Been down to the shop today. Certainly a very spacious building. Had a lot of sondico branded merchandise which looked good.

I'm personally not sure on the move to the retro badge, I'm not convinced it looks the part, particularly when embroided onto the merchandise.

Ticket office looked good but I tried to buy tickets and they couldn't accept card, so had to leave it.

It needs the finishing touches putting to the whole place.

I thought the new badge looked mint on everything in the shop!

It's really big, a million time's better than what we have previously had! Ticket office being in there is also a good move.

We ain't selling space. In retail you do not want space you need wall to wall product. We simply have not got any and to compound that no shirt.

Smurf if you would have employed someone to sort all this ( and that man is not me) how much do you think we would have had in the bank for decent players. At least 4500 shirts would be gone by now at 40 quid.

Forget space want news on a shop rammed with new innovative product.

I don't think you can have product that is wall to wall and innovative (unless it's something like interactive carpet). Innovative product would cost too much to order so much of it to fill out the shop.

I never suggested a garbage shop like sports soccer how they survive with their poor product and even worse service escapes me.

Like any shop, they meet a demand

We should have lots of branded sportswear in our shop big mark up.

Does stuff like that have to be paid for up front? personally I;'d have thpought most customers would be going in there to buy Vale branded stuff so that is the top priority?

Are we really being serious about generating cash for this club from this shop.this should be a retail proposition like any other.

But it's not like any other is it..it's a club shop and so must satisfy the demands of the supporters; it's lucky that it has a loyal following who would (if they had to )buy a load of old toot cos they know it's helping the club. I would not buy a load of **** form M&S to help M&S shareholders make money

in these days it's good to keep your stockholding really lean and not tie your money up in stock that could go ino markdown. But don't keep your inventory so lean you disappoint your customer and never do this on launch week.

So don't fill it with branded goods that poeople aren't going there to buy?
