Pirelli tyres?

There's no doubting that today was crazy and Pirelli have a fair few questions to answer. Tyres shouldn't blow like they did today. I was in the crowd today and when Hamilton's tyre blew, there was a stunned silence from everyone. He was very much in control for the first part of the race and gaining a decent distance away from Vettel. Hamilton was angry at the end of the race and rightly so, even though he drove incredibly to finish fourth from the back. The tyres cost him first place today.

When that part of the track was inspected after the race there was found to be a bit of a lip on the curve. As the cars were going across the Kerb it is thought that it was this that was doing the damage and cutting the inside wall of the tyre.Nothing definite yet but it is something that they are looking into.

Why didn't it happen in practice yesterday on the same track?

I'll pass on that one.Ask the experts who are looking into it,or await the result of the investigation.Im just pointing out what was said after the race.

Click on the track at the top and watch the video in this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/23118249

Seem a logical reason but best wait till the experts have looked into it.

If you read the interview with Lewis Hamilton in the original post he says that Mercedes did a 3-day test with Pirelli after the Spanish Grand Prix last month.Hamilton and Rosberg carried out the test to develop and improve the tyres after that test but Pirelli did not do anything about it.Seems as though they are ignoring the problem.

By the same token.I was just saying that they were looking into that part of the track.Partly due to that's the area of the track where the tyres were blowing.I also saw the part where interviewed drivers made their feelings known about Pirelli, many drivers seem to be concerned and rightly so.It is a huge safety issue that needs looking into in a proper way by all parties.
