It was Adams who did it. Was a rash tackle which he was prone to but Adams was wrong to do it so publicly at the time and Morsy barely played for weeks after. Regards Grant I put him in the same bracket with Sang. I only want them as centre mid options and they’d both be worthwhile I think then. They cannot and must not be wingbacks for us next season, seen enough of that experiment to last a lifetime.

If there is something to cling to on Uche last years retained list we announced Benning was in conversation with the club but then transpired he had a clause which activated another year but ended up moving on to Shrewsbury. Maybe it’s similar here with Uche?? That is just pure guesswork though. The under contract ones I’m not bothered about right now as that will change as the summer progresses. When DC released everyone before his first full season of memory serves me correct it was only a few days after that Theo Robinson and Scott Burgess were transfer listed so wouldn’t read much into that at this point other than they’re currently under contract.
