  1. We didn't ay at our best if that was theirs then they could have a shock come Thursday. Here are the stats again for us when we were not our best against Swindon.
  2. The game was not pleasing to the eye. It was an awful game all around. However I see some Vale fans like to just be negitive. We need do better and if ee play at our best we would have won that. The stats however people would like to see it say its more even.
  3. I see that and yes it had its purpose. However is no longer necissary.
  4. The sporting covenant was something that made me uncomfertable at the time for the very reasom if we evee decided to do this we can't sell it for say a housing development supermarket etc.
  5. Talking about New Stadia has anyone seem Yorks. Noticing multi coloured seats are all the trend atm.
  6. Depends as alot of seating has needed and still needs to be replaced. So therefore it is something to keep in mind for that. The bycars probably has the most damaged seats in the home ends so maybe.
  7. One thing I also haven't seen much of or missed is the mention of safe standing at Vale.
  8. Luton are moving to a new stadium. New Luton Town stadium moves closer after land sale WWW.BBC.CO.UK
  9. However this could change dependent on the circumstances. It may cost more to rebuild vp than a newer one. The final decision is with Carol. We can only speculate here. No harm on discusion.
  10. London alot more expensive to build there.
  11. For me if there is still space there would be near the Vodafone centre festival park. Potential raiway if the council would place it and access to A500 etc.
  12. You only picked a few there ans Walsall was over 30 years ago so is not a new stadium. Burton was built when they were non league so not comparble. Rotherham etc is more the level of Vale. However you are missing the bigger picture it is more than juat ques. It has so much more to do with the standarda of facilities on offer and also tgw cost of redeveloping VP could be a major issue. If you read further back you will see this.
  13. So probably more like 30 years would been there by now.
  14. In all fairness not a 100 percent certain. It can be done. If it had been festival park near the old cobridge ground that offer was in the 90s and would have been well over 20 years by now. I guess the Festival Park idea with a link road to Burslem would not be a bad idea. Other clubs cope with change surely Vale could one day. Its not going to happen amy time soon however. Not sure if that land is stll empty near that vodafone contact centre.
  15. This has always concerned me as a fan is that there has regardless of ownership always been this mindset it has to be Vale Park. Teams have left much more historic stadia for new ones. We should not be confined to just remaining die to attachment issues. Life changes and moves on. We all love VP however new memories can be created ay a newer one even. It is a pipe dream atm but it is always possible a decade ago teams like Brentford were at a similar level and have since made the premiership and built newer stadia.
  16. I said many moons ago there were these issus now with neglect of the previous two owners its gotten even worse. In an ideal world in reality the raiway stand/paddock, the family stand and bycars all need bulldozing and reconstructing. Witg the hills etc there is a huge waste of land and potential. The said issues of the mine shafts make it even harder. A new stadium is needed and the last few games have shown this as if we evee get to the Championship again problems will arise.
  17. To be honest its frustrating and disapointing, however at this mokent in time we are still in with a shout and also we havs come along way. This is a fairly new squad still. Vale Fans yes deaerve better but the damage done by the previous ownership is still in repair. Up the Vale
  18. They will lose one of Barrow or Exeter.
  19. They seem to have this mindset that Vale fans were the issue during the 90s.This is as we had the cheek to enjoy what was for us a sucessful period. So we deserved all we got off their fans in this time. Always recall them as nasty agressive fans. 10 years outside the potteries could not care less about them now.
  20. I think things are changing and people naturally are purchasing less newspapers. With Vale now we have excellent site like OVF and Port Vale's own page as well as social media accounts. Its sad that it is diminishing in the sentinel, however we get plenty of news from other avenues. Sent from my SM-G973F using onevalefan mobile app
  21. League Two and the National league ade not so different now. Most are professional and there is more cash down there.
  22. He was a worthy keeper to be given the chance to step up.
  23. Played in the Brazilian top flight if you looked closer.
