Good luck to him... although I doubt he has much to do with luck.

I was a little confused by him just walking away as opposed to the several statements that said he had sold his 50%..... but from what I have read and hopefully understood smurf wasnt just buying into vale, although that was a part of the package, he was buying into a bigger deal.

I would have liked to have kept the pair of them but thats not to be... hey ho

I know that from a reliable source.

I cannot reveal that source, which makes for a crap post I know.

 

But it's water under the bridge now.

He tried to buy Darlington. He did "buy" Vale. Now he wants to buy any other random football club that comes along. Why??? What makes football clubs so attractive?
I think it is the land/development opportunities, such as Plymouth are considering.
