Just been down to my local Coral's in Fenton and got a massive 16/1 for promotion had to wait for them to phone it through so try and keep any bets on it low guys as 16/1 is massive compared to skybet where it is 9/1.

16/1 for promotion for us next year I would think that was a bit tight from the bookies to be honest with you as I can't see it happening at all.

The 40/1 was to WIN League 2.16/1 for promotion next would suggest we are c 66/1 to win League 1.

I thought the price looked big this morning too, the Skybet 9/1 was JUST 6/1 three weeks ago by the ways!.....

 

I have changed my bet for the upcoming season to £150 @16/1 for promotion last year I had £100 @10/1 for promotion and £50 eachway @ 40/1 for the title.

 

I think I will have us each way again but I will probably have us on the handicapper as Im hoping to get +22 points :)

If Tom weighs in with 12 or 13 goals at this higher level, and a fair number of assists, then he could still be one of the Vale players of the season. His overall play and hard work has to be taken into account, and whilst he is likely to score less than last season he is sure to be one of the crucial players in Micky Adams team.

 

I predict Tom will score a goal for each 3 full games he plays, a very good ratio that most strikers would love to get anywhere near ! So if he plays 42 games, that would give him 14 goals - he may have a spell injured or suspended.

Remember also that unlike a lot of higher scorers, none of Tom's huge total last season were penalties !

I'd say 16/1 for promotion is a definite lay, will be a really strong league next year. Skybet's 9/1 is completely out of what with their outright book so must be trying to dodge for some reason.
