This is what is our golden oppurtunity. I believe some released players from clubs like these and Notts County means the players will possibly be willing to come to another league one club on a little less. But I believe we can compete with swindons wage bill next season.

55% was League 2.League 1 threshold was 65% now it will be 60%.The point about gate numbers is Swindon get nearly 9000 home fans which is the main source of income I would think,now they are halving the playing budget.It looks like something has been/is going sadly wrong there.

Well using that knowledge then I bet we shall struggle to compete with them even on that figure. How much is crewe's budget though based on those figures?

Correct Tone,it just seems a bit drastic to cut the wage bill by half to me.I don't think they had an embargo last year?(Swindon)

And is it any wonder Paulo Di Canio was successful. His budget in league2 must have been good too. Wouldn't take a genius get them up.

 

Wolves will have players are 30/40k a week.

I have a few mates who are wolves fans and O HARA is on 40k a week still and they mentioned another name still on 38K a week they are in big trouble and need to offload a lot of players and fast.
