Goalkeeper is a funny one...

For me you need someone dependable.  Don't have to be outstanding. If the players in front of them are any good then the keeper shouldnt have to much to do.

Same for me, doesn't have to be one who is pulling off worldies now and then but can't come for crosses, or can play football like he is Roberto Carlos but spills everything, just a very plain, solid keeper would do, when we've played teams like Barrow or Harrogate and they've just been a solid keeper in goal for them who's done what it says on the tin. Its why in some aspects Aidan Stone worked in the Play Off season after Covolan for instance. Solid not spectacular.

The York City Number One would be a good addition

Not convinced mate, never played league football. York obviously don't think he's good enough for the step up.

Seen him 4 or 5 times and can't comment too much on his ability due to York being so dominant.

Just a red flag, why have they let him go .

I’m on a serious note now, GK position I did like the look of that Gabe Breeze from Carlisle only young too. Not sure how he did for Carlisle this season though.

Scott Brown or Chris Neal type be perfect for keeper.

Both solid keepers with plenty of games under their belt.

Exactly this. Both came in after a series of terrible goalkeeper before them.

Just need someone dependable that control and manage the box

And someone being able to kick a decent goal kick would be helpful too. Sick of seeing them go out for a throw or straight to the opposition

Yep, eagerly awaiting to see some announces myself. Be another month before any can come in proper though. Some could be announced before then though. I think one or two were announced in season just gone before they were officially through the doors.

Yes,I think our first signing last summer came in during May

I wouldn't be opposed to us trying to bring in Ennis on loan for the coming season,he really impressed me when they played us

Does anyone have an idea on potential goalkeepers? I dont think Amos should have gone as hes a great number 2 and a more than capable 1. Im not sure who there is but that position is worry.

In terms of strikers, id love to see us go in for that Samson Tovide guy. Whenever he played against us hes been a pain and I think with Brady on board and Stockley to support he would be a great addition. Only 22 and fits Bradys profile of player.

Considering Brady has released 2 of our keepers and transfer list the other then you would think he has one lined up(agreed to join) as a replacement and hopefully two

Could do with finding a goodlad or Jack Alnwick.

Never forget his kung fu kick on snidey Harry.

Chanting " off off off " in the Bycars, I thought McKirdy had done him, not the opposite way around.

A mentalist.

His contract run down mate so for me he wanted to leave , so maybe he was looking for a new challenge or he's after a bit more wonga , I think he's worth a punt either way ,tbf 😁
