Not posted since January, got fed up of the back biting and sanctimonious posts and constant bickering. Was good to take time out from it all.

Saw a good thing on the Bristol Rovers forum. Attack the post, not the poster. Be nice if some adopted that ethos on here.

Some of these might be mentioned already as not been trawling through.

Abdul Abdulmalik pacy winger/10 with great goal return for Borehamwood. Cheeky bid if they stay down.

Callum Stead ,Barnet, aged 26, fits the hungry billing, Brackley to Barnet and good goal record. Seen him on a couple of occasions. 13 in 34 this season for Barnet. Lively player.

Probably want too much but Isaac Hutchinson from Gas, filled his boots at Cheltenham, something gone on at Gas, however probably end up higher than league 2.

Keeper, again depending on promotion with Rochdale,  Whatmuff, comfortable with both feet, composed young keeper.  Cheeky bid to City.

Abdulmalik won't be coming on this performance today. League one clubs be interested.

What's the odds that Peterborough go after him.

I notice Northampton have offered Cameron McGeehan new terms. A player signed by JB for them previously. Now 31 but capable of nipping in with some midfield goals.  Unsure if he is likely to drop to league two. Be interesting to see where he ends up, a popular player with the Not the Top 20 lads.

McGeehan is one who i mentioned towards the end of the season as someone i thought Brady might target but since then he has said he wants to target younger, athletic players with a mix of those with experience, well i think we have the experience in the squad as it stands,so now personally i think he is going to be looking at younger players now

Absolutely zero chance Paul. Loans to Stockport and Wycombe in League one suggest his stock is higher than League two. We won't be signing Lowe.

IF Stoke were ever to sell him then i am certain he would end up in League One,I aren't sure he would want to come here any way tbh

I would love to go for Tezgel though either on loan or permanent(doubtful) i think he has got loads of potential

Have some ambition guys, I accept that Vale won't be top of his list and it's unlikely to happen but PVFC still has much going for it and if we're to get straight back to Lge 1 he's the type of player to score the goals to get us back there.  There's no harm in asking the  question.

If he signed for Vale, in 12 months time he could have a shed load of goals to his name, about to play  Lge 1 football anyway and may be courted by much bigger clubs than most Lge 1 outfits.

Tezgel would also be a good shout if he would sign permanently.

We've got to score goals and that means forking out some big money (For PVFC) and being bold for at least one or two strikers.

I think Boreham Wood will now need to brace themselves for a few departures and maybe even their manager

I've got ambition, I'm also a realist.

The only way he ends up at Vale is if we did a Wrexham with Mullin and pay him absolutely crazy money.

Lowe was the signing we should have made priority last season. Instead we went for Devante bloody Cole!

Id give up on this. There's no way we're signing them. Even if we were in League One, why would Stoke want to help us out by giving us some of their better prospects on loan? The Coates's hate Vale so would never help us out like that, and if they came to us an flopped, our fan base would castigate them. Its lose/lose for them and for Stoke, so why would they come here out of choice?

And I'd counter to say we will probably fork out money but it won't be for Stoke players.

There's no harm in asking the question but there are players out there that we as fans, don't know about because they haven't played for us, Crewe or Stoke before.

I'd say have some ambition by looking beyond the Potteries and Potteries related players/people when linking them to the club.

Nothing more nauseating and less ambitious than not being able or willing to look further than across the road.

The only other thing that surprises me is with this kind of attitude people haven't 'asked the question' to Popey to bring him out of retirement.

I'm also a realist but in many situations where my initial thought is "It's not possible/it's out of my reach", I take the view that "It doesn't cost anything to ask the question" and if positive negotiate from there.

So Mr Brady, ask the question if he's someone you want!!  If the answer back is no then move on.

If Vale are gonna sign even a Lge 2 20..ish goal a season striker it will more than likely cost a tidy sum of money unless we get lucky and even if we spend a chunk o'change it's not a guarantee.

They might well already be doing this anyway, but we are never going to know, are we?

Unless you think FLW's AI articles are going to read the minds of Brady and Carol and tell us what's really going on with recruitment.

No chance Stoke would let him come the Vale

Paul Mullins has returned to Wrexham. Clearly not wanted in the championship but worth a punt? Seems to have lost a yard of pace but him and stockley would work. Possibly out of our price range but if cole was getting 7k a week giving Mullins the same?
