In fairness poking fun at Paul Sturrock is quite below the belt as it should be remembered that he does have Parkinsons Disease and does fantastic to conduct his job as professionally as he does.

 

Re the weight thing. I two have lost two and a half stones and heading nearer to the 4 stone reduction I want to achieve. The odd jibe here and there didn't really bother me, but it is up to yourself whether you want to lose the pounds or stay fat. People will always offer a cheap shot of ridicule at a fat person. Sticks and stones and all that. I'd guess the Southend physio has heard it all before.

 

You looked well at Accrington Porky.......:razz:

Im sure you'll find some way of twisting that further but I'm off out now for a Sunday dinner and a tan....suggest you do too, it might relax you.

He is a physio!! If anyone should know how to stave off becoming a fat bap it is someone of that profession. That has nothing to do with whether people should be laughing at him but still . . .

 

Exactly! Why would anyone take health advice from a guy with cankles? That's why there were laughs, he was a PHYSIO.
