Plus if I recall, he never scored for the Vale. Not done bad since with Uncle Neil.

Yer I remember the miss he is a massive Stoke fan though. Worked with him and his dad for a few years, he was at Alsager Town for a bit as well between various other engagements!

Hes made a good living as Warnocks body guard. He did once tell me he learned a lot from Ron Futcher… always keep moving clubs and pocket your share of the transfer fee. Obviously in fairness to Futcher he kept his standards high to ensure he got those moves.

football s changed now…. As good as Jeppo was you can’t make a living anymore from physicality.

We might have had a guy called Burndred years ago who made at most a  couple of appearances from possibly Newcastle Town or he ended up there after us, but the gulf in class is massive.
