Everyone should be willing to give him a chance this season. Last season he and us were diabolical. But we are where we deserve to be and had we actually managed to stay up by the skin of our arses, baring a miracle over the summer we would have all been watching us getting hammered most weeks by considerably better teams. There's absolutely no fun in that. Now hopefully we can start against fresh with as many new faces around the place as possible. I have major doubts about Moore but if he gets us going next season and creates a team spirit similar to the one Clarke did, all can be forgiven.

How long are you giving Moore? What's your minimum expectation in League two before the club should consider getting rid? 

I think if we are all realistic the top ten would be an achievement.

I’d go by the kind of performances and entertainment over pure league position. I don't really want some door football like Crosby had us playing. 
 

If we can see improved performances and effort levels then that should see Moore get more transfer windows to build his team. It’s unrealistic to expect him to get it right first time round.

A full season. I just want to see a team that has some bottle and character. One that plays on the front foot and isn't afraid to mix it up a bit. None of this farcical passing it around for the sake of it which is ridiculous unless you have a full team that are comfortable on the ball and not just a couple of players.

In league 2 we won’t be seeing much entertaining football. Despite everything, I enjoyed our first season in league 1 far more than our promotion season. It was simply a better standard of football.

Last season was awful and if you look at the squad we have left, despite how badly it performed, it certainly should not be struggling in league 2 next season. Browsing some of the squads of stronger teams like Bradford and MK Dons, I see nothing to really fear. 

All the summer really needs is 2 decent strikers. A couple of creative players would be a nice bonus. 
 

Either way, Moore has no excuse for an Aspin era league 2 season. The squad is far too good for that.
