Nobber, you havn't seen us play, I'm a happy clapper as they say on here but trust me,  it's league 2 for us next season.

I'll be rooting for you anyway.

Can anyone recommend songs to sing at them? 😜

Classic…..

If I had the wings of a sparrow

If I had the arse of a crow

I’d fly over City tomorrow

And <ovf censored> on the bastards below, below

<ovf censored> on, <ovf censored> on, <ovf censored> on the bastards below

repeat

Origin of the 'Lardy' title was from a Charlton fanzine - they'd played Stoke and they commented on just how fat the majority of the Stoke support were. 'Must feed them on lard' was the comment and legendary Vale fanzine 'The Memoirs of Seth Bottomley' picked up on it.

You could also try 'who ate all the lard'.

😁

I thought it was Leyton Orient, who they had recently played circa 92-93. "Evidence of the lumpy northerners eating lard". I think Orient were referring to Northerners in general but Seth twisted it single out the fat Stoke fans, and they really are a fat bunch of bastaaards.

Sing their delilah back with ...

Why why why d'you bother

There is a full song but will have to ask other Vale fans to give you the full version as I am in the pub and inebriated with hope that we can finally win a game tomorrow!

Yes, you could sing that Nobber and substitute Vale with Dale. It went like this.

Why why why d'you bother

Why why why d'you bother

So  before, you go to division four

Come up the Vale (Dale) and we can settle the score.

👍👍👍
