Amazing ain't it two months after beating Mansfield on a crest of a wave 3 games away from league cup final ,ok positioned in league thinking we going on a European tour  ,drawn Middlesboro in Cup the most winnable game and a lovely FA Cup replay  of Stevenage at home forvthe right to play Maidstone next round 

Ollie here and Devine playing Garrity banging goals in gamely .

FA Cup replay 2 up playing really well  off go Devine and Arblaster on 63 mins  and then we  turn to a shower of s--t.end up deservedly losing after pens as we gave a team momentum momentum given to them by the subs being made and players not doing there jobs.

 

So on we go to Middlesboro a game where loads of folk turn up who do not usually  . Display will take some people a lot of  convincing come back if only Massey had of scored he only had to head it in,  Once Ollie got injured the rest of the game was poor fare our most influential player off and Vale showed after that nothing whatsoever .

Once Garrity limped off v Carlisle after a truly atrocious display from soft touch Vale well its not been good that's for sure .

Just goes show you can be on a crest of a wave then players lose there way ,confidence drops and all of a sudden you find yourselves in bottom 4 .

I find it staggering how we can go from lots of goal attempts to hardly any a few games after .

Performance levels need to improve from every  member of the playing staff .

We can get out of this but everyone has to stick together .

Port Vale3  Blackpool 0 suggests we not as bad as folk think .

We need to start scoring and for me the best chance of that is flooding the midfield and springing forwards to aid the one attacker who is selected on current form well I couldn't choose any of the loft Wilson and Bipepa to play there on there own so maybe give Debrah a go up there and move Jones back into defence

Salient point here though for the Flitcroft out brigade (of which I was one of before this week). If you are going to judge a manager on a 2 month cycle so have to judge a DoF on a 2 year cycle because they are different jobs.
