The cup run needs to generate money to buy two players outright and put them on a minimum of a three year contract. Only then can Vale plan long term.

Maybe Vale progressing to the semi finals will ensure that they can buy both Arblaster and Devine. That will show true ambition, but knowing Vale it won't happen

It wont happen because we cant afford either even if we got to a couple of finals,so lets not blame vale for not signing Arblaster or Devine as thats just silly

Then I would rather someone at the club 'dig out' a couple of National league gems on the same talent level of Arblaster and Devine and sign them both. Under Rudgy we had an excellent scouting network...now that seems to be missing under this so called 'Director of Football'

Arblaster is class but years ago we had Ray Walker who was also class and Robbie Earle...how much did Vale pay for them? When they were bought in Vale were still in the process of building.

Where is the building strategy now?

How is it going? Obviously not that well to have to rely on loanees as the bulk of the nucleus in the team. 

Loaness are all very well until they get recalled.
