Port vale collection bin next to a Ruby Owen bin in asda tunstall...

Sorry but it really made my blood boil,a little girl in need of treatment to keep her going or a business that has took the **** out of it's customers asking for money to keep it going..

How dare asda put them side by side,i know which bin i put my change in. I'm not sure its even legal to be honest, putting the begging bowl out for **** run companies next to a childs ****ing life... **** POOR..

what next a begging bowl for every carpet shop that goes bust??

For anyone who has been to asda and put in the vale (charity???)bin before the Ruby Owen one then shame on you.

The vale will survive even without your collections..................Ask yourself this , no i wont bother. You know the story.

A massive p1zz take.

Surely what people donate to is a personal choice?

If folk want to give to a very ill little girl, fair play.

If folk want to give towards saving the vale, fair play.

If folk want to give to both, fair play.

Each to their own, if folk earn it then let them decide how they spend it.

1. Calm down dear.

2. Don't put your money into the Vale bucket if you don't want to.

3. Of course it's legal.

4. Stop trying to wind people up numbnuts!

not trying to wind anyone up, just think its awfull to put the vale next to a real cause that needs money.

The council have bailed you out(again) and the PFA are doing all they can to pay the players, so why all the begging buckets all over the town..have you gave to the Ruby fund REP????

Because donating might make some difference, no matter how small, to local creditors owed money by the club and to the survival of a local employer and big part of the economy of the north end of the city?

Like others have said, the two causes are worlds apart and should not be judged against each other.

Oh, and yes I have given to the Ruby Owen appeal, outside Vale Park in fact.

I have got one going into Tesco Kidsgrove, the Manager is a Vale fan and well said R E P.....we all have a choice...and to add John Caudwell is backing that fund and I donated

Well said Colonel.

If I recall Vale fans raised a significant amount of money for Ruby and were thanked.

I also remember Vale players initially being a damn sight more generous than the millionaire Stoke players!!!

What a crap thread, no idea why it even exists other than to feed the ego of a Stokie WUM. Shame on him!

This thread should be binned or at the very least should have a ratings option or a like/dislike button!
