It's true it's all very sad. Stoke may well be a low paid area, but there is no hiding from the fact that there are some extremely wealthy people in and around the area. None more so than a family that have multiplied their personal wealth via feeding off peoples gambling weaknesses.

It's a sad affair that the poor girl's appeal fund bucket should even have to be sat on the floor of ASDA, given that many people in our area could help out immensely with just their loose change......., but where does it end?

When it comes to charity, i tend to give to several, as to choose just one is nigh on impossible...:(

not trying to wind anyone up, just think its awfull to put the vale next to a real cause that needs money.

The council have bailed you out(again) and the PFA are doing all they can to pay the players, so why all the begging buckets all over the town..have you gave to the Ruby fund REP????

Not trying to wind up.....then why the crack about carpet shops then, and before you ask i gave to the Ruby fund

I did dont worry about that.Should we have a collection bin in asda for every company that goes into admin then????

and would you put into it?????

I rest my case.

I wish you would rest your case permanently.

We had collections for Ruby at the 2 home games prior to the Burton game.

I gave to both.

I also gave to Vales cause.

If you don't like the buckets at ASDA shop somewhere else.

Did you donate to Ruby?

Sod off back to the oatcake.

:razz:Well at least we know he would,nt put one of our buckets on his fruit and veg stall, just because Asda put the buckets together is,nt the fans or donators fault......do you give on Poppy day?? probably not because it,s next to a PDSA box or some other worthy cause

Port vale collection bin next to a Ruby Owen bin in asda tunstall...

Sorry but it really made my blood boil,a little girl in need of treatment to keep her going or a business that has took the **** out of it's customers asking for money to keep it going..

How dare asda put them side by side,i know which bin i put my change in. I'm not sure its even legal to be honest, putting the begging bowl out for **** run companies next to a childs ****ing life... **** POOR..

what next a begging bowl for every carpet shop that goes bust??

For anyone who has been to asda and put in the vale (charity???)bin before the Ruby Owen one then shame on you.

The vale will survive even without your collections..................Ask yourself this , no i wont bother. You know the story.

A massive p1zz take.

Maybe they could have been kept seperate but collections for Ruby were done at Vales home game with Gillingham & the ppl collecting asked if they could go in the dressing rooms to the players & the club said yes so the players also gave - found out when they collected at Stokes home match they were refused to approach their players.
