Balance. The positives.

As Markymark correctly points out, rightly or wrongly this site only posts the doom and gloom.

So to give a bit of balance, we'll post some positives.

I'll start...

"we have created arguably the best childrens' centre in the north of England"

The club is well respected for the community focus that it has created.

Based on what? I often hear the club spouting this nonsense about being a community club, what does it actually do though? I see Stoke being more proactive in my community. Community club my a a rse It's a myth!

As much as I agree with the majority, this thread sums up what's wrong with a lot of people.

Failure to actually see positives. Yes, the be all and end all is the survival of the club - but that shouldn't take anything away from efforts on the pitch.

Two points outside the playoffs with 18 games left, while unable to spend any money on players, and having to send loanees back and play Loft etc. out of position to cover. Down to the bare bones, yet still fighting.

I'm looking forward to Crawley and Aldershot away and will be hoping we're somewhere in the mix. We may as well be pleased with what there is to be pleased with, and that doesn't take away from our efforts removing the scum from our club.

Who knows - things could be looking brighter in the next few months, we don't want to regret wasting a season waiting for the board to do one, do we?

Just a quick sidestep on this intended positive thread. You cannot fail to not see the above as a true positive. It's the whole script that comes with the picture. We are down to bare bone and scraping a win, but why are we down to bare bones? Could we reasonably expect to not be down to bare bones? ... Put another way - If a homeless person manages to find something in the bin to eat, is that to be seen as a positive that they have got something to live off OR do we focus on the fact that they have no home or decent food & drink to live on. Perspective.

Back to the intended.

The scoreboard.
