Todays' protest

Protests outside the ground today were very poor.

Dozens of fans on OVF said they would protest outside during the game, as usual all words and no action, including many of the 'higher profile fans'. All mouth..

Full credit to the dozen or so who remained after kick off, you know who you are and made the ultimate sacrifice to stand up and be counted.

I am sure that prior to the next home game we will see the usual suspects on here bigging it up about protests and then backing down.

Have the conviction of your words. If everyone stuck to their word these charlatans would have been gone by now.

Apathy reigns at Vale Park.

Spot on BV...the talk on here and the Facebook page was of upping the ante from the last protests, but the same thing happened, in that not many turned up and it was the usual 'singing at the wall' !

Ah but it had the media on our case and the desired effect in the directors either AWOL or hiding!!!!

Exactly. It was mentioned in the BBC website match report.

We need to keep the issue in the spotlight. I'd be amazed if Jabba and Peroxide Perry haven't done something illegal in obtaining power, it's just that we need to find out what and be able to prove it.

There is no way on this earth it was anywhere near 90% to be fair.

Still it was the majority, which is what matters at the moment.

I Didnt see a single person empty handed,it was a clean sweep and fantastic to watch and really got the message across. So much so i think it stopped people from protesting after.

Also that ****ing **** sandos was really winding me up,i cant wait to see him in public.

I was disappointed with the "8 minute sit in " Too many in my opinion legged it at the final whistle a big well done to all those who did stay despite what that pratt Sandos says I think done properly it is a massive publicity tool. === === ===

To be honest i forgot all about the sit in,i was to eager to go to the protest. I could hear it very loud though when walking out.

Sandos is a p rick and needs his mouth shutting.

Sadly I thought the numbers were far too low both before and after the game - 8 minute sit in was terrible as well (in fairness bliddy cold to stay ) - BUT, the red card was a great success - soo, people don't like what is going on, won't protest and annoying though that is, we have to accept it and use what they WILL do every match. If cost is a problem, surely we only need to ask fans to take a red Xmas card envelope with them? We must keep the pressure on - if 90% of your customer base want you gone, you will be gone sooner or later.

I think the red card protest was very indicative to how most fans feel, standing outside the official entrance in the cold singing at a brick wall isn't what most are comfortable with and it was the same old, same old!

After match protests need a new direction, the red cards was a big success though.===
