Chesterfield seem pretty confident that the game against Vale will be the one to clinch promotion, and a quick look shows they are probably correct.

They need just 8 points from now, and thats IF the teams outside the top 3 win ALL there games.

They are at Barnet this weekend and by the following Saturday they will get a clearer picture as to what they need to do against us.

There is still talk of us being moved to a smaller area, to allow more home fans in !

As far as i am aware the game IS NOT ALL TICKET..... However, the stadium is a cashless ground so tickets have to be bought from a small kiosk outside the away end. So Vale have requested tickets in advance.

Looking at the above link Chesterfield see this as a ' big one '

Spireite fan here. Yes this match is a big one. My grandaughter is a mascot for the game (8 year old) You would be best to get tickets at your end as the away ticket office (small cabin) is very slow. Looking forward to playing you next week. Hope you get back to winning now you got rid of Gannon. Think you will like our new ground. Got to be better than the open terrace at Saltergate. Do us a favour & beat Bury for us.

Welcome to onevalefan, spire2003.:welcome:

May i take this opportunity on congratulating you on your inevitable promotion & title winners.

I hope you achieve it either before or after you play us. ;)

Really looking forward to our first visit to your new stadium. If we can beat Bury as you requested followed by beating Lincoln on tuesday then we will bring 1500-2000 so be ready for us!:D

P.S. I hope your grandaughter has a fantastic day.

Me and about four mates are getting tickets for this one on Saturday.

I do hope we take a fair few to this one, it is not that far away and we still have a chance of gaining promotion... plus it is a brand new ground.

We can manage 1500+!

as it stands at moment chesterfield need 11 points to get promotion because shrew if they win game in hand will be 14 behind with 8 to play. so this game against vale wont be promotion for them. even if all the others mess up
