No manager with any sense or self respect would ever think of applying for the post and who would want to join his team no full control, no proper finances, interference in player selection,adams left because of all the background noise from an owner who thought he knew more about the game than him and over the months has proved that what he knows about football could be written on a postage stamp, a bit of a gloss over but saves me from researching all the nuances.

I'd have a bit more sympathy with Blades fans if that side they had under Harry Bassett didn't used to kick lumps out of Ray Walker, Johnny Jeffers etc... back in the day.

 

They also had that player who fractured Ian Hume's skull. Where did he end up?
