I really do hope that the investment is as good as it sounds, vale deserve a bit of luck after the years of crap they've had to put up with.

Midtable div 4, Lorne street unfinished, Hank the Yank putting his money in some other club with more ambition, more unrest within the boardroom, less than 2000 season tickets sold, this seasons pro boarders protesting outside of the ground, against the board.

I'll stay optimistic, and go for struggling to get going in league 1 and not a lot different off the field.

But seriously from what I saw at Plymouth without reinforcements we'll be hovering around half way in this division

 

Off the pitch I am optimistic that the toxic board members will be well gone and there will be new people at the helm bringing not necessarily large amounts of money but certainly skils, expertise, a genuine desire to do things properly and a genuine desire to do what's right for the club.

 

We'll have stability and above all else unity.

Off the pitch, we will be more stable financially, but not exactly pulling up roots...a good base for the future! no more fears of administration and we will actually be spending money on players, but don't expect us to be paying anything over £150k for a man.

 

On the pitch, exactly where we are now, flirting with the play off and promotion paces, but not enough consistency in all areas of the pitch to get any further!
