Watching With Interest

I would pay money to see any of our current Board or our CEO in a debate against Mo, but Pratt or Glenda up against him would be golden:yes:

Bungling Bill would tie himself up in so many knots, I think he may end up sobbing on stage .... bless.

Sorry, just can't help giggling to myself, I know it might be viewed as cruel. He brought that nervous breakdown on himself though

My problem with Mo, is that whatever the protestors said, he would immediately jump on and promise the earth. It's a totally unrealistic way to do business, and I wasn't convinced by his behaviour, and his 'strategy' of how he was going to try and oust the board. It was slightly unnerving.

I have absolutly no doubts of his pedigree as a business man, he has done remarkably well and fair play, but in terms of him investing in PVFC, everything he said sounded like it could have been cut and pasted from a UKIP or a BNP party manifesto. It pleased a lot of people but those people didn't look into the whole story, it all seemed slightly whimsical and transparent. And I do not subscribe to the need for anyone coming in to be totally open with the fans. You cannot run a business, especially a football club by releasing every detail about all potential investments.

I wish Mo all the luck and I would like to see him come up against a member of the board in a debate, maybe to show his plan for the club has some depth. But if he were to invest then I'd happily eat my words if he were to go on and be a success. The one thing going for him is that he clearly doesn't do failure, and I see no reason for him investing in PVFC other than to drive the club forward, be it for his ego or for his new found love for the club.

given what you are saying then, if the board had have actually given the initial approach from Mo the correct level of interest without dismissing it out of hand you would have accepted his takeover bid?

Do you not think that Mo himself would have preferred a more business like way of dealing with his bid as opposed to having to use the protesting fans as his vehicle of communication. Given the way Mo was treated by the board how would you have handled the situation and achieved a good level of support from the fanbase?

I still think there is room for MS, MC and other investors as well. I dont see Mo being as objective to investment as the current incumbants.

Here we go then. Get a boxing ring up in the centre circle.

£20.50 for a ticket. Legal Beagle v Bill and then the main event Mo v Glenn.

We'd be flush!

I'm still sick about a man that was outwitted by our Board and fell at the first hurdle....I swear to God not many would have made the mistake he did.

I'm not convinced he's 'waiting in the wings' as someone said either.

bratty outwitted and outmanoeuvred him

I have no alternative plan that I believe Mo should have used. But I can say for sure, and maybe (I don't know) speak for others when I say that I felt that Mo was a bit underwhelming in that any new controversy that broke he immediately pounced on. That's why I wasn't convinced that Mo was any different than what we have already.

So you'd rather a limper, less successful businessman, who claims not to be a Vale fan?

Is that all negative psychology, or what?

Which particular member of the Board? Interestingly, Mr Lloyd has said that Mo Chaudry should have had the opportunity to do just that and that the whole Mo Chaudry situation was badly handled. Do you agree?

Lloyd was just trying to save a little face, the irksome little man.

Mo I am sure would destroy him in a public debate.
