Why are people wary of Mo?

I think you are right VH, maybe im not as passionate about it as some seem to be. I certainly dont understand the need for abusing players, trashing directors cars, and the manager needing protection from the supporters, no matter how bad they are. Because, yes, to me its football and there are more important things in my life than it.

 

Thats not to say i dont want the best for the club i support. V2001 clearly arent what is required to remedy our ills, that has been plain to see for at least 4 years. But im equally entitled to voice a scepticism about Mo Chaudry. I dont have to back it up with evidence it is an opinion based on information recieved from someone i trust ( hearsay in your view). Its just a difference of opinion.

 

Can you not understand that for others the life or death of thier football club takes a high priority in thier lives, that is thier choice.

Not heard about the directors cars before? When was this?

We are all concerned about this MC mystery, surely you have a public duty to make it known to be the proper authorities, if it is more than tittle-tattle.

VH, ive taken up LB's offer and PMed him with my concerns. I am not trying to be malicious with regards to Mo Chaudry. This thread asks why the doubters have concerns i simply answered it.

On a scale of 1 to 10 of dodginess where 1 is "claims OAP discount when only 59", to 10 "willing to rob own granny blind", Rob, how would you rate:

One of the other things you hear from the pro Mo fans is ..... "If the anti Mo lot have any actual evidence of dodgy practices against Mo, lets hear them on the forum".

 

This rather simplistic outlook fails to consider that succesful businessmen with "colourful" pasts and questionable practices are rarely stupid enough to leave hard evidence of these practices lying around. They cover their tracks well. They also have considerable financial might and will use the full force of the legal system to come down on anybody that accuses them of something specific without being able to back it up.

 

Hence i wont be putting out the specifics of what i have heard on OVF. But i am one supporter who thinks the fact that the police found it nessesary to investigate messers Ibbs, Meredith and Chaudry very intetesting.

 

So why are the board using Ibbs (who the electorate rejected because of the way he tried to destroy Trentham High) as a character witness against Mo?

 

I wouldn't trust Ibbs as far as I could throw him after Trentham High so if the board have taken his advice it shows how clueless they are. No wonder he's an ex Councillor.
