Bratt. Oliver. Deakin & Lloyd...Your thoughts

X-Valiant

on a plus point he seems to be at least trying

on a massive minus point the way he tried to brush asside the coffin march and then made comments about season ticket holders being "true fans" pee-d me off absolutely massively

For that I would like to see him gone

I agree he seems to be trying to get things done which makes a change but I do think some of his public comments have been a little ill-advised and he needs to learn above all that if something isn't broken there is no need to fix it.

Glenn...mmmm

Undoubtedly Glenn was, maybe still is, one of the biggest Vale fans on the Board. I honestly believe that he's now joined the self preservation society that is our Board and that he's in too deep to abandon ship.

On a personal basis he's always been fine with me. He was really kind when Phil was so ill and was generally an ok guy.

Vale related? Now that's a different matter and he doesn't come over so well. In my opinion he lets himself down in the manner in which he goes about things. I don't know if he does it out of frustration or what. I've had many many 'disagreements' with Glenn but have always managed to sort them out. Unfortunately or fortunately, which ever way you see it, his latest outburst has left me with no other alternative other than to insist that any communication between us is strictly via email.

I used to have huge respect for Glenn when V2001 first took over the club. He is passionate about the Vale and really wore his heart on his sleeve. I believed he was working in the best interests of the club and supporters.

I began to have my doubts and since the 2009 AGM, and his behaviour in attempting to organise a shareholder coup against Mike Lloyd, I have lost all respect for him and have since found him to be dishonest. He has turned into everything he hated about Bill Bell - a man who is no longer trusted by the fans and who clings to his position in the face of all the evidence.

Quite frankly, I feel more let down by Glenn that any of the other directors and I find the current situation, with regard to Glenn, sad beyond belief.

My thoughts exactly

I agree Jean. He masqueraded as one of us and then stabbed us in the back when it was his time to stand up and be counted.

If it is pure stubbornness keeping him the boardroom, then that is one of the most horrific things I have ever heard

My thoughts exactly Jean. And yes, it's very sad indeed. :(

He represents everything that is wrong with our Club.

He is a manipulator of the highest order.

I agree, he knows best and will not listen to anyone else's opinion. He no longer represents the fans and needs to go and take his two fellow directors with him.

I was thinking about Bill Bratt as I was walking the dog this morning..scary I know.

Maybe we should have a "countup" clock on OVF from the time he last spoke to the fans.

If we set it from the EGM? It's currently running at 41 days and 2 hours, maybe not the best example as his silence at that meeting said it all.

I went no where near far enough. Look at the facts and results of his actions:

- ever diminishing finances and increased debt/ interest payments

- a nose dive down the league

- a division between the fans wider than the English channel

- an ignored vote of no confidence

- publicly deriding a serious investor with a plan that far out weighs anything V2001 have ever come up with

- constantly turning away viable investment

- a board that no longer attend match days

- dwindling crowds

- real Vale fans having to stop going and risking putting the club into admin because they know in the long run it is for the best

- a team that is a shadow of the one we had when they took over

- a constant media circus that leaves us a laughing stock

I could go on for days- time to go

Spot on Yukon .

To think some people believe that 'doing his best' is still a qualification to remain defies any form of logical thinking .

Just go Bill and take the other two chuckle brothers with you for all our sakes .
