OVF on iPhone

Where has the link to the forum disappeared to from the initial home page when opening OVF? It's become almost impossible to use OVF properly on my phone recently and total pot-luck if you find the forum. It's the same on my sons and wife's iPhones too, so it's not my handset.

When u do find the forum just save that page as the bookmark.

I suppose that would work, but I'd prefer the forum button to be back like it used to be. Just lately, the whole site just looks and feels clumsy on the iPhone, with stories and adverts popping up everywhere, but the iPad version is fine.

I just bookmarked it and now I have what's just like a app on my front screen I got no problems with it at all on iPhone 5s

It's because this summer I have done a lot of work on the non-forum part of the site. Just to explain - I am trying to make the site cope better with high traffic and to do that I have done a hell of a lot of back-end work which you'll see this weekend when it will be shown for the first-time. As with a lot of things, sometimes not everything works and what looks good to me, on my device, may not work on others.

 

I would stress that this is a hobby site NOT my full-time job. It's never my intention to make it "difficult" so I do appreciate when people tell me things are wrong. If something doesn't work, just drop me a PM - I want you to enjoy the site, not suffer if I've made a mistake so let me know if something doesn't work. However, do bear in mind, that I can't please everyone, all the time.

 

For instance, I can't test the site on every device (I don't have the money). I don't actually have an iPhone, for instance but if anyone wants to buy me one so I can test the site out, that's fine with me ;)

 

I would recommend the Tapatalk app - I personally use this over trying to access the forum via a mobile browser.

 

If you do want to access the forum via a browser, you would just need to type http://www.onevalefan.co.uk/forum to access the forum and I will look at solving the menu if I can. However, I would strongly recommend using the Tapatalk application instead.

EDIT: I've added a new mobile-friendly menu that should appear top-right on iPhone. That should solve it.

This is what the site looks like on an iPhone emulator. I hope it looks the same on actual phones. You'll see the menu link on top right.

EDIT: I've added a new mobile-friendly menu that should appear top-right on iPhone. That should solve it.
