Don't post on here often but would like to point out something about land developments. The land at Vale Park would be worth far more in monetary values if developed for say a Supermarket and not residential housing. Just another angle for the land value that's been banded about recently that's all....

EDIT: It will be worth even more if Mo wants to build a football club, and make it successful. Now theres an idea, but probably Mo would rather less attractive housing market ay?

The chances of it being developed as a supermarket are less than Bill Bratt staying for 90 minutes for a home game!

 

The key point is that it was revalued on exactly the same basis as before by Mo's valuer. I would love to know on what basis the Board actually "instructed" it's own recent valuation

Possibly, but the supermarket built on a corner of the Vale car park is still there, currently in use by a travel company. But there is a large amount of brownfield land in Burslem, which I think is residentially zoned. I think VP is more a land valuers plot than a building site. Thanks for your interest.
